Air India Express strengthens Madhya Pradesh footprint with two new routes

The airline, starting Aug 1, 2026, will operate two daily flights on the Delhi-Bhopal route, and one daily flight on the Mumbai–Bhopal route.
Air India Express has added Madhya Pradesh’s capital, Bhopal, to its domestic network with daily services connecting the city with Delhi and Mumbai, starting August 1, 2026. With this addition, the airline has expanded its Madhya Pradesh operations to about 60 weekly flights across three of its major airports: Bhopal, Gwalior, and Indore.
The airline will operate two daily flights on the Delhi-Bhopal route, and one daily flight on the Mumbai–Bhopal route. Additionally, the new service will enable guests from Bhopal to access one-stop connectivity to four international destinations - Abu Dhabi, Dammam, Muscat, and Sharjah - along with 16 domestic destinations including Bagdogra, Goa, Guwahati, Jammu, Kerala, and Varanasi across Air India Express’ network.
The airline has also launched a new international flight from Madhya Pradesh’s Indore airport connecting the city directly to Abu Dhabi. The new Indore-Abu Dhabi service will commence on July 15, with three weekly flights on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
Air India Express has recently announced three new international routes including Guwahati-Abu Dhabi, Guwahati-Dubai, and Navi Mumbai-Abu Dhabi. The airline operates around 500 daily flights connecting 43 domestic and 16 international destinations supported by a growing fleet of over 100 aircraft
