ADTOI launches Karnataka Chapter in Bengaluru
The Karnataka Chapter will serve as a hub for collaboration, innovation, and advocacy, ensuring that the interests of domestic tour operators are represented and advanced at both state and national levels.
The Association of Domestic Tour Operators of India (ADTOI) announced the installation and launch of its Karnataka Chapter, strengthening domestic tourism across the state. The ceremony, held at Hotel Maurya, Race Course Road, Bengaluru, witnessed participation from members, stakeholders, and industry professionals.
The programme began with lunch, followed by the formal installation and launch ceremony, and concluded with the first chapter meeting.
The newly installed office bearers of the Karnataka Chapter are:
- Chapter Chairman: Roshan Pinto
- Chapter Secretary: Poonam Shetty
- Chapter Treasurer: Bhavana Jalan

- Lady Entrepreneur Officer (LEO) Member: Neena L. Pereira

The launch ceremony was reportedly graced by dignitaries including M. Srinivas - Chairman, Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation, Manoj Kumar, IFS – Principal Secretary (Forests), Government of Karnataka, Janardhan H. P. – Joint Director, Department of Tourism, Government of Karnataka, K. Syama Raju – President, South Indian Hotel & Restaurant Association (SIHRA); President, Karnataka Tourism Society (KTS); Past President, FHRAI, Vishweshwar Bhat - Editor in Chief, Vishwavani, Ved Khanna - National President, ADTOI, Ashish Segal - National Vice President, ADTOI, D.R. Chouhan - National Managing Committee Member, ADTOI, and Atul Singh - National Managing Committee Member, ADTOI.
The occasion was also attended by industry stakeholders, tourism professionals, and representatives from the travel, tourism, and hospitality sectors, whose presence underscored the importance of domestic tourism in Karnataka. Their guidance and encouragement provided strong momentum to the chapter’s vision of promoting Karnataka as a premier destination for travellers across India.
