VietJet Announces Direct Flight Between Ho Chi Minh City & Brisbane

Vietjet announces its first direct route connecting Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) and Brisbane (Australia), making it the third Australian city after Melbourne and Sydney to be included in their flight network. This milestone was witnessed by the Vietnamese Prime Minister, Pham Minh Chinh, and the Australian Prime Minister, Anthony Albanese, alongside esteemed representatives from both countries’ leaders, businesses, and people.

Starting June 16, 2023, the airline will operate direct route between Ho Chi Minh City and Brisbane with two return flights per week, on its A330 wide-body aircraft. This development will play a significant role in boosting trade between Vietnam and Brisbane, Queensland, as well as fostering stronger bilateral relations between the two countries.
