Sarovar Hotels has announced the promotion of three of its top executives, Rajesh Ranjan, Nipun K Vig and Akshay Thusoo, to Senior Vice Presidents for Development, Operations, and Commercial respectively.
Rajesh Ranjan, who has over 30 years of experience, has been appointed to the position of Senior Vice President – Development. In his new role, he will take charge of all business and project development activities, including global franchisee and management contracting. Additionally, he will lead the design and development think tank, drive strategic alliances, spearhead business growth initiatives, and oversee the planning and launch of all new hotels.
Nipun K Vig, who has accomplished over 30 years in the industry, has been promoted to Senior Vice President – Operations. In his new role, he will be responsible for decision-making related to profitable and sustainable growth plans for every hotel within the Sarovar portfolio. He will oversee all operational activities, play a crucial role in new hotel development, and help drive business advancement.
Akshay Thusoo, with over 15 years of experience spanning hospitality, media, and the automotive industry, has been elevated to the strategic position of Senior Vice President – Commercial. In this pivotal role, he will oversee the sales, revenue, distribution, and marketing functions, and effectively steer initiatives aimed at propelling business expansion and market share growth.
