Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation on the occasion of Daan Utsav – The festival of giving week, organised special Mumbai Darshan Tours for senior citizens. This initiative was undertaken by MTDC along with the assistance of Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI). The Mumbai Darshan Tours was inaugurated at the hands of Swati Kale; General Manager of MTDC followed by felicitation of tourists with roses. The tour commenced from Dadar (East) and covered all the iconic places in Mumbai like Siddhivinayak Temple, Gateway of India, Mani Bhavan to name a few.
Kale said, “It is a privilege for us to host such an initiative under the guidance of Jaykumar Jintendrasinh Rawal, Minister of Tourism, Government of Maharashtra. Daan Utsav is all about giving and spreading happiness to make society a better place to live. The senior citizens were so thrilled and excited to experience the Mumbai Darshan Tours. Through such initiatives we aim to establish the state as the best tourist destination and we want each and every tourist to have a joyful and memorable experience.”
