RateGain launches CRS integrated AI voice agent for hotels

The UNO VIVA, AI voice agent, aims to manage hotel reservation calls and improve operational efficiency.

RateGain Travel Technologies Limited (RateGain) has announced the launch of UNO VIVA, the first CRS-integrated AI voice agent built specifically for hotels.

UNO VIVA is an AI agent developed on UNO—RateGain’s AI-powered hotel commerce platform—designed to streamline and optimise the reservation journey for hotels. Designed to be deployed independently or alongside a CRS, UNO VIVA manages reservation-related calls. It is built on an automatic speech recognition system with multilingual capabilities, supporting over 18 languages.

According to RateGain, nearly 90% of inbound calls to hotels are repetitive and often answered inconsistently, with 40% of voice reservations going unanswered. UNO VIVA is designed to address this issue by reducing operational strain, recovering lost revenue, and ensuring consistent service for guests.

UNO VIVA provides hotels with a 24/7 assistant that reduces the front desk workload, ensures accuracy, and offers consistent service across all interactions. It also syncs live rates and availability to eliminate pricing errors, manages bookings, and sends instant confirmations to guests. The solution is expected to improve booking efficiency and increase average value per booking.
