Lufthansa Group

Lufthansa Group has appointed Dieter Vranckx as new Vice President for Asia Pacific. He will lead the airline group’s regional headquarter in Asia Pacific with immediate effect. Based in Singapore, he is responsible for managing and directing sales at all markets in this region.

Jens Bischof, Executive Vice President Sales Lufthansa Group and Chief Commercial Officer Hub Frankfurt said, “Asia Pacific consists of diverse and competitive markets and Lufthansa is committed to continue growing our market presence here. Therefore, we are pleased to have found the right talent within Lufthansa to drive this initiative of leading the business and accelerating our growth in this region.”

Prior to this position Dieter Vranckx held a variety of positions in Passenger Sales and Cargo within the Lufthansa Group, including Vice President, Head of Sales & Marketing Switzerland, Germany and Austria for Swiss International Air Lines in Zurich. He was responsible for the Area Revenue results and the Sales and Marketing activities in the home markets of SWISS (Switzerland, Germany and Austria) and the Lufthansa Group (Switzerland). Most recently, at Swiss International Air Lines he was responsible for the area revenue results of €2 billion and a total of 110 employees.
