Sabre Announces New Central Reservations agreement with Yukai Resort

Sabre Corporation has announced a new agreement with Yukai Resort in Japan, which is renowned for its Onsen Ryokan, or hot spring, properties. Yukai Resort will use Sabre’s SynXis Central Reservations system along with the SynXis Booking Engine with Channel Connect and Voice Agent across its 29 properties to control all reservations in real-time from one scalable platform while increasing geographic reach, boosting booking conversions and enhancing the guest experience.

SynXis Central Reservations will enable Yukai to distribute rates and inventory from its hotels and resorts to 400 online channels across the world, including all major GDS systems, as well as hundreds of online travel agencies (OTAs), metasearch engines and call centres.

“We selected Sabre’s SynXis platform as we needed robust and scalable technology solutions to support our business goals,” said Koji Nishitani, President and Representative Director, Yukai Resort Co., Ltd. “As we look beyond Covid-19, these solutions will give Yukai greater visibility across the world, as well as allowing us to control all of our reservations in real-time from one intelligent platform. Our teams across all 29 properties are able to efficiently share information and gain further insight into guest history and preferences, allowing us to further enhance our experience for our future guests.”

“Japan has ambitious targets to attract increased numbers of tourists, including encouraging visitors to explore lesser-known destinations outside of the big cities. Yukai’s hotels and resorts are perfectly placed to enable travellers to experience authentic Japanese culture while discovering new regions,” said Frank Trampert, Managing Director and Chief Commercial Officer, EMEA & APAC, Sabre Hospitality Solutions.
