Avis Car Rental and multiple Formula E race winners Mahindra Racing will be partnering for the fifth consecutive season of the global all-electric street racing series.
The long-term partnership between Avis and Mahindra Racing, one of ten founding teams of the ABB FIA Formula E Championship, has been established since the inaugural 2014/15 season and continues to go from strength to strength. As one of the world’s best-known mobility brands, with approximately 5,500 vehicle rental locations in nearly 170 countries, Avis brings its global reach to the partnership with Mahindra Racing. Supporting the ethos of the Formula E team, Avis has a long history of innovation in the mobility sector and is one of the world’s top brands for customer loyalty.

The partnership will see Avis provide on-the-ground vehicle support to Mahindra Racing as well as a special service for its VIPs.
Meanwhile, race-goers in need of a car for the race weekend will be able to hire a car from an Avis location close to the race circuit or use the Avis Chauffer Service to arrive in style. The service will be available at the following season 5 races: Saudi Arabia; Hong Kong and China; Marrakesh; Rome; Paris; Monaco; Berlin; Bern, and New York city.

The opening race kicks off in Ad Diriyah, Saudi Arabia, on 15 December 2018 and then travels to Marrakech before heading to Santiago, Chile and Mexico City in February 2019. From there the team will head to Asia and Europe ahead of the penultimate and final race of the 2018/19 season in New York in July 2019.
