Maharashtra to showcase its tourism profile at WTM 2019

Maharashtra Tourism will showcase the diversity and legacy of the vibrant state to international tourists at the upcoming World Travel Market (WTM) London 2019. The global travel exhibition will be held at ExCeL London from 4th to 6th November and Shoba Mohan, the Founder of RARE India, will be managing the Maharashtra Tourism Stall AS-570 at WTM 2019.

Maharashtra is a melting pot of culture, heritage sites, hill stations, beaches and a promise of unlimited possibilities. The state is the hub of Bollywood and houses the financial capital of India: Mumbai. Maharashtra has always been synonymous with vibrancy, delicious local treats and energy that is second to none. Festivals in the state become a gathering filled with color, pomp and celebration. Here, it doesn’t matter where one comes from, what language one speaks or what beliefs one has. If you are here, you invariably become a part of the history. The experiences one has here will turn into memories, which will be cherished for a long time. At WTM London 2019, Maharashtra Tourism will endeavor to give a glimpse of all this to the visitors.

“There is more to Maharashtra than you know – some like the National Parks, temples and tiger reserves you will know, and some you may not – like its hidden sacred forests, vineyards, beaches, brilliant trekking routes, picturesque sea forts, hill forts and the glamorous city of art and art deco, Mumbai. We are really excited to represent Maharashtra Tourism at the prestigious WTM London 2019 that has a legacy of 40 years of promoting and connecting travellers and travel brands from across the world. It will provide a wonderful platform for us to expose global travellers to the tourism potential and diversity of Maharashtra,” Mohan said.

RARE India will also represent Maharashtra Tourism at the road show that will be held as a part of WTM London 2019 on 5th November from 3:45pm to 5:00pm at SG 23 & 24.
