Atmantan Wins ‘Best Wellness Centre’ at the National Tourism Awards

Atmantan received the ‘Best Wellness Centre’ (west) award at the National Tourism Awards 2018-19. Held at Raj Bhavan, Delhi, the ceremony saw the Hon’ble Minister of Tourism, Shri G. Kishan Reddy and the Hon’ble Vice President of India, Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar. The dignitaries present the award to founders Sharmilee Agrawal Kapur and Nikhil Kapur on National Tourism Day.

Appreciating the efforts towards the development of Indian tourism, Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar, Vice President of India, said, “It is the recognition of the hard work that not only pays homage to our country’s culture but Indian Tourism sector has also emerged as one of the key drivers of growth for nation’s economy & employment generation post covid”.

He underlined that the ministry of tourism is making sure that every sector of tourism is on an incremental trajectory. He also described India as “heaven for tourism” and urged Indians to explore domestic tourist destinations first before considering International travel. Aligned with the growing global interest in our ancient practices of healing such as Ayurveda and Yoga, he also emphasized that India has immense potential in the field of medical and wellness tourism.

Talking about the proud moment, Sharmilee Agrawal Kapur, Co-Founder, Atmantan, said, “Our journey of more than half a decade has been a serious endeavor towards creating a space synonymous with result-driven wellness while integrating the best of Indian ancient sciences. Being recognized on such a prestigious platform by esteemed dignitaries fills our hearts with immense pride and joy.
