Goibibo.com claims that it has now become largest hotels aggregator in terms of volume of transactions in India. The company says that its free online cloud services are used by 20,000 hotels.
In the last one year, accommodation owners have been enabled by Goibibo with mobile apps to manage their inventories, prices, content, ratings and reviews, accounts, payments and analytics, the online player said in a release.
Besides enabling digitization of inventory, the platform also enables distribution of hotels inventory across ibibo Group properties as well as external constituents such as banks.
According to the release, survey from hotel owners reveals that Goibibo has helped hotel owners to improve all key metrics comprising occupancy rates, yields, growth rates and online shares besides real time recommendations on driving improvements.
