KOREA TOURISM ORGANIZATION HOSTS FAM TRIP

Korea Tourism Organization and Cathay Pacific organised the FAM Trip for the Travel Agents and media to experience the best of Seoul and Jeju Island. Participants enjoyed Unique Experiences while staying in resole Island of Jeju and Capital City, Seoul.

The group visited the beaches, Alive Museum, Yatch Tour, Water sports, Jungmun Beach, Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak(UNESCO Heritage), Jungmun Daepo Columnar in Jeju Island. The group is thrilled to experience Cheonggyecheon Stream, Gyeongbokung Palace, Lotte World – one of the top 10 theme park in the world, Myeongdong shopping Centre, Seoul N Tower, Itaewon shopping in Seoul. Apart from this, the group also visited Incheon Asian Games Venue and experienced some of the Medical Tourism Facilities.

“I wanted our consortium members to experience the Exotic Jeju Island and Vibrant Seoul City together before we start the joint campaign in Indian Market. It is really an eye opener for them to understand the Jeju Island and Seoul city together and I expect them to educate their team and customers. I am sure that our media participants would be highlighting the major tourist spots, accommodation, culture, local food, and Indian/Vegetarian food availability in Jeju Island and Seoul out of this FAM trip,” said Byungsun Lee, Director, Korea Tourism Organization in India.

The FAM delegation was a big group of 14 participants, including travel agents from Mumbai – Akbar Holidays, Orbitz Corporate & Leisure Travels, Travel Blazer Tours (India), Mercury Travels, Kesari Tours, Mahindra Holidays, Cox & Kings and Thomas Cook; and Media – Hindustan Times, Outlook Traveller and Lonely Planet.
