Cougar Motorsport is all set to host the first edition of Force Gurkha RFC India from August 8-14 in Goa. Launched in 1997 in Malaysia first, the RFC is considered among the top ten toughest motor races in the world. With the event coming to India, Indian off-road enthusiasts and touring adventurers can get the international experience at home.
Speaking about the overwhelming response received, Ashish Gupta, Founder and Director, Cougar Motorsport said, “RFC is well-known in the motor race world and it coming to India is a huge opportunity for off-road enthusiasts here. This event isn’t just limited to off-roaders though. We would like to see more touring adventurers come and witness all the off-road action themselves. We have received many inquiries from people wanting to participate in Force Gurkha RFC India 2014 in the capacity of touring adventurers and we welcome them. They can come to Goa and catch all the off-road action, experience it and leave with many tales to tell.”
The six-day event will be divided into four sections – the Prologue, the Predator, the Terminator and the Twilight Zone. Touring adventurers can witness the first three stages at close range. There will be 30 Special Stages (SS) which will test the driving and recovery skills of participants in extreme off-road conditions. The entire course will be designed by experts from RFC International.
