RADISSON BLU CELEBRATES FOUR YEARS IN ASIA PACIFIC

More than 40 Radisson Blu hotels and resorts in Asia Pacific recently celebrated Blu Day, which marked Radisson Blu’s fourth birthday in this region. Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group’s upper upscale brand, Radisson Blu, has much to celebrate, having welcomed 10 million guests in Asia Pacific since planting its flag here four years ago. It is now one of the fastest growing hotel brands in the region and today, it has 42 operating hotels in key locations and another 35 under development in Asia Pacific. Globally the group operates 275 hotels in 62 countries.

Sandy Russell, Vice President, Commercial Operations, Asia Pacific, Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group said, “Over the past four years, 10 million guests have enjoyed Radisson Blu’s hospitality in Asia Pacific. Since day one, it has been offering free internet access to all guests, one of the brand’s distinguishing brand hallmarks. Guests staying at Radisson Blu hotels can always be assured of their stay being 100 per cent Satisfaction Guarantee and be impressed by its unique ‘Yes I Can!’ service philosophy. It is heartwarming to see our hotels enthusiastically celebrating Blu Day with our guests, thanking them for choosing Radisson Blu.”

In India, staff at Radisson Blu New Delhi Paschim Vihar dressed in blue and organised a flash mob to entertain guests. Radisson Blu Plaza Delhi organised a “Back to Blu” vintage showcase with a blue 1930s car and classic blue scooter on display at the hotel lobby for guests to take pictures with. Guests at Radisson Blu Resort Fiji Denarau Island had fun dressing up in blue wigs, while Radisson Blu Plaza Sydney offered complimentary barista coffee at their main entrance in exchange for a donation to Autism Spectrum Australia (ASPECT), the Australian hotel’s chosen charity for this year.
