Xiamen-based Xiamen Airlines has appointed Aviareps as its General Sales and Service Agent (GSSA) in India. Xiamen Airlines currently has three major hubs in China, i.e. Xiamen, Fuzhou and Hangzhou. In addition, it has hubs in Tianjin, Changsha and Beijing. The airline presently has 56 destinations with 457 daily flights. It operates 218 domestic routes in China and 26 international routes (Including Hong Kong, Bangkok, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Seoul, Macau, and Taiwan).

Commenting on this alliance Joseph Fernandes, General Manager, Aviareps India said, “We are exhilarated to be representing one of Chinas top notch airlines and a SkyTeam Alliance member airline. India is currently witnessing a massive boost in both business and leisure traffic to China. Given the agent friendly policies of the airline and the fantastic award winning services, Fleet, and strong network level of service that Xiamen Airlines offers we expect a very positive response for Xiamen Airlines from the Indian market.”

For Xiamen Airlines, this is a strategic, long-term investment.
