Leading hospitality consulting firm, HVS has announced the finalist for the HICSA ‘Hotels of the Year Awards’ 2015. Hotel Investment Conference − South Asia (HICSA) will host its 11th Annual at the JW Marriott Aerocity New Delhi on 7th and 8th April 2015.
44 nominations were received this year for the ‘Hotels of the Year Awards’ and HVS is pleased to share the names of the finalists across the following categories: Luxury/Upper Upscale, Upscale/Upper Mid Market, Mid Market and Budget/Economy segments. Like every year, the list of finalists was derived by an esteemed panel of six judges using a detailed point-based analysis model for each hotel’s ranking across various criteria. This year’s awards also saw an overwhelming participation from neighbouring countries such as Sri Lanka, Nepal and Maldives. In light of the same, the judging panel has decided to create two additional categories – Luxury/Upper Upscale and Mid Market earmarked for hotels from the neighbouring countries. The winners will now be selected by HICSA delegates via an online voting system, which will go LIVE on the 12th March 2015 and will remain open till 7th April 2015. The names of the winning hotels shall be announced on DAY 1 as part of the scheduled programme.

Instituted in 2009, HICSA Hotels of the Year Awards were conceptualized to acknowledge outstanding new hotel developments in the South Asian region in the past year.
