NIRANJAN KHATRI’S ECO-SEMINAR GETS GREAT RESPONSE

The free seminar by legendary hotelier Niranjan Khatri in Bengaluru received great response from the industry and the city’s hotel management institutions. The theme was ‘How to make eco-practices a career advantage’ as the aim is to inculcate the correct practices in education and industry for a successful career.

“The new generation of hoteliers have to learn green techniques so that existing hotel practices are made more frugal and modest, by eliminating waste from design stage in products and service design. This can be achieved if the academicians ask heretic questions on each aspect of resource use in a world with declining resource trajectory and modify the current curriculum,” said Khatri.

This programme was presented by Sealed Air, in association with ACE Technologies Group and hosted by the M.S. Ramaiah College of Hotel Management. Greening Hospitality is going on a national tour with Khatri to continue engaging with leading hoteliers and restaurateurs. The cities are Bengaluru, Kolkata, Jaipur, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Chennai and Goa. Greening Hospitality is owned and organised by X Events Hospitality.
