Ministry Suggests To Be Aware of Fake News

The Ministry of Tourism, Govt of India urged citizens not to get influenced by the fake news being posted on social media and other platforms. The Ministry has responded to a fake news stating that hotels and restaurants will remain closed till October.

“This is for the information of all noteworthy citizens of India to kindly disregard a certain misinformation regarding closure of hotels/restaurants circulating on the whatsapp platform in the name of the Ministry of Tourism. The Ministry of Tourism declares this to be a fake message. Kindly note any message from the Ministry of Tourism may only be relied upon from its officaila social media handles,” the Ministry said in Facebook post.
