‘Inder Sharma Foundation’ to Present ‘PATA India Tourism Powerhouse’ on Dec 6

The 2nd edition of the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) India Tourism PowerHouse, presented by the Inder Sharma Foundation, is a full day event being held on 6th December, 2019 at The PARK, New Delhi.

The Tourism PowerHouse aims to ignite the minds of the leadership of the tourism industry and to fully tap the immense potential of Incredible India, in line with global best practices. The theme of the meeting is ‘India Tourism – The Big Leap Forward’.

The Foundation aims to continue to support the travel and tourism industry, in much the same manner as the Late Sharma contributed towards nurturing it, through his multifaceted association with the industry.

Sharma was amongst the founding members of PATA India Chapter, a life member of PATA and on the Executive Board of PATA Foundation. His contribution to the Tourism industry and PATA both, in India and International are well known to the travel and tourism fraternity.

PATA India is inviting international speakers and opinion leaders to share invaluable insights and trends, thereby, encouraging Indian tourism experts to think above and beyond the status quo and enhance the product offering and successfully compete with world class tourism products and services.

The meeting will be led by Yogendra Tripathi, Secretary, Government of India, Ministry of Tourism, and Chairman PATA India Chapter along with Mario Hardy, CEO PATA. Participants will get the opportunity to network, learn and interact with knowledge leaders and industry stalwarts as also participate in engaging discussions on Aviation capacity to India, Impact of tourism, Digital and Destination marketing, The China opportunity and more.
