SATTE, South Asia’s leading travel show, recently concluded its six city roadshow in India including; Pune, Ahmedabad, Surat, Indore, Chennai, and Hyderabad. Each of the roadshow witnessed great response and the networking evening was well attended by around 100 who’s who of travel trade from the respective cities. During the roadshow, representative of SATTE showcased the benefits it brings for India tourism. Many agents who attended the roadshow registered as buyers on the spot.
The idea of the roadshow was to promote the SATTE 2020 Buyer programme. The Buyer Programme for SATTE 2020 has been designed in a way that enhances delegates’ business networking opportunities manifold. Buyers can interact with the highest number of exhibitors at SATTE 2020. SATTE 2020 will be held at India Expo Centre, Greater Noida, Delhi –NCR from January 08-10, 2020 and will be spread over 25,000 sq mts.
The series of roadshow was very well applauded by industry experts who felt such events will indeed boost the B2B tourism business.
Speaking about the roadshow, Nilesh Bhansali, Director, Travel Agents Association of Pune said, “Thanks to team SATTE as it’s the first time they have organised a roadshow in potential tier II city like Pune. It is definitely the best platform in the travel industry, to connect, network and update new trends and information of travel trade around the world and indeed helps the tour operators from Pune and after this show there will be more participation than earlier.”
Valmiki Hari Kishan, SKAL Executive Committee member of Telengana said, “First of all I must congratulate you for this wonderful idea of coming down to South for a get together to educate and empower these tier II & III markets as still they are not that good in social media nor they get your mailers. 60 per cent of the attendance who never been to SATTE and are seriously looking into. They all got influenced with other exhibitions that come to their door steps but very limited exhibitors. I am sure with your efforts of this kind you will see more South presence where actually the business is.”
Siraj Ansari, President, Tour Operator Associations of Telangana, said that it was a good interactive session with prominent personalities of travel trade.
“It was a great event by SATTE team in Ahmedabad and Surat, highly proper managed, superb footfalls of travel agents. Truly appreciated efforts by whole SATTE team,” Ranjeet Shrivastava of Enterprising Travel Agent’s Association (ETAA), Gujarat chapter said.
Also to further appreciate the travel trade, SATTE organised a networking evening in New Delhi and is set to organise a similar Networking Evening in Mumbai on 25th September, 2019.
