The travel and the hospitality industry in the coming years won’t be the way we knew it due to COVID-19. People are already cautious about travelling with plenty of questions such as duration of travel, using public transport, number of travelers at a destination and the health and hygiene of the staff and the place they will be staying at.
Private vacation homes are emerging as one of the options. These homes will also be following the global safety measures.
“We are actioning protocols that are safe, implementable and make sense. Some of these measures include a zero-contact approach for check-ins, using a contactless digital thermometer for temperature readings for the guests as well as our staff, among several other steps.”
Throwing more light on these measures, Tejas Parulekar, Founder, SaffronStays, says, “There will be FOSTAC training for our staff as well as continuous training for hand hygiene and respiratory etiquette.”
