Vietjet has officially announced five direct flights connecting New Delhi and Mumbai in India with Vietnam’s largest cities, namely Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang. This was announced recently in New Delhi in presence of Hardeep Singh Puri, Minister of State in charge of Civil Aviation, Govt of India; Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh, Vice President of Vietnam and Pham Sanh Chau, Ambassador of Vietnam to India as well as high-ranking delegations from both Vietnam and India.
Starting 14 May 2020, the New Delhi – Da Nang route will commence operations with a frequency of five flights per week. New routes connecting Mumbai with Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City will operate with three weekly flights and four weekly flights from May 15, 2020 and May 16, 2020 respectively. Currently, the airline operates flights from and to New Delhi, Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi at a frequency of four flights per week and three flights per week respectively. With this Vietjet will become the only operator with most direct routes between the two countries, offering five direct routes from and to India.
With these five routes, Vietjet will introduce Vietnamese and international travelers to multiple destinations and the country’s diverse culture, religions and cuisine.
