For a collaborative push towards sustainable, accessible, and affordable air transportation, Air Mobility India to build the foundations and community buy-in for India’s broader goal of democratizing air travel into cities and regions across India.
JetSetGo announced the launch of Air Mobility India, reported to be country’s first community-driven platform and website dedicated to Advanced Air Mobility (AAM). Built to bring together industry stakeholders, advocates for advanced air mobility, future customers, and sustainable aviation enthusiasts, the community platform aims to build the foundation for a collaborative nationwide push toward sustainable, accessible, and affordable urban and regional air transportation.
The platform is reported to be structured around four core pillars. Its Resource Section acts as a one-stop hub for AAM-related news, blogs, and updates. The platform said to also aggregate global AAM content and plans to introduce a video library in future phases. Partners from the AAM ecosystem, both Indian and international will be tapped for content, news and opinion on how to make India a leader in the global development of AAM technologies and services.
The Community Section is built to enable interaction and collaboration. Modeled as a hybrid between a forum and a social platform, it allows users to create profiles, join interest-based groups, form connections, and engage in debate about how and where AAM can start and grow in India’s cities and regions. Expert moderation will ensure queries are addressed, fostering informed and engaged participation.
Through its Events Section, Air Mobility India will host and manage webinars, briefings, and community discussions. Events can be created by partners or external players, subject to approval, and shared across the network to drive participation and learning.
Air Mobility India also has a conversational AI assistant, ‘Ami’, under development. Once live, it is said to guide users through the platform, collect interaction data to support research and development and help forecast user needs. The focus is on creating natural, intuitive interactions.
Air Mobility India outlines the broader ecosystem required: take-off and landing sites (vertiports), charging networks, low-altitude air traffic management, community integration, regulation and safety protocols. It aims to address aviation’s environmental accountability, underscoring how electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) or hybrid-electric regional aviation, aligns with decarbonization goals amid growing travel demand.
The platform will also feature ongoing discussions tailored to local priorities, such as enhancing medical transport in remote areas or reducing commute times in metropolitan hubs, alongside global AAM developments. JetSetGo intends for Air Mobility India to serve as a catalyst, encouraging participation from all quarters and actors to build a sustainable aviation future.
Kanika Tekriwal, Founder of JetSetGo, shared her thoughts. “The AAM revolution will not happen in silos. It requires conversation, coordination, and community—and that’s exactly what Air Mobility India is here to foster. We envision it as a lively community where people share knowledge, express ideas, debate the issues and accelerate India’s leadership in building future-ready, clean, and connected air mobility solutions.”
Jonathan Sumner, Chief Strategy Officer of JetSetGo, added, “Air Mobility India is more than a a website or a digital platform—it’s a catalyst for collective progress. As India prepares to embrace AAM, we need a space where innovators, regulators, businesses, and citizens can interact openly on the opportunities and the challenges. This community will be key to shaping the community engagement and trust that this next era of aviation demands.”
