Jamaica Tourist Board launches ‘Kingston Season of Excitement’ campaign

The Government of Jamaica has invested $16 billion in the tourism sector for 2025-2026. The investment is aimed at making Jamaica’s tourism industry more efficient, generating growth, and solidifying Jamaica’s position as a leader in travel and tourism.

The Jamaica Tourist Board (JTB) introduces its latest campaign known as the ‘Kingston Season of Excitement’. It hails the vibrant cultural and sporting calendar of Kingston during the spring season.

Kingston, Jamaica’s capital, will host a series of marquee events during the spring, March to April 2025 that will engage the international community. The events include, ISSA Boys and Girls Championships (March 25-29), Grand Slam Track Meet (April 4-6), and Carnival in Jamaica (April 21-28).

On the occasion, Minister of Tourism, Edmund Bartlett, said, “This season afford our guests an unprecedented chance to feel Kingston’s vibe while augmenting our tourism economy that continues to grow.” To this, Donovan White, Director of Tourism, added, “The Kingston Season of Excitement honours the finest aspects of Jamaican sport and culture. We’re excited to be working together with event producers and partners from industry to create an experience of a lifetime for our guests.”
