Georgia remains open to welcome Indian tourists with streamlined visa process: GNTA

The Georgian National Tourism Administration Office, now represented by Think Strawberries in India, has released detailed visa guidelines to assist applicants in ensuring a smooth travel experience. The issued statement also shows that Indian passport holders with valid US, UK, Schengen, or Japan visas can enter Georgia without a separate Georgian visa.

Georgia continues to extend a warm welcome to Indian travellers, who remain among its most valued visitors. In an official statement, the Georgian National Tourism Administration (GNTA) has reaffirmed its commitment to simplifying travel for Indian tourists, offering a fair and efficient visa process to boost tourism from India.

Indian passport holders can now find it easier than ever to explore Georgia’s culture, breathtaking landscapes, and the hospitality. The GNTA India Office, now represented by Think Strawberries, has released detailed visa guidelines to assist applicants in ensuring a smooth and hassle-free experience.

Key Visa Application Requirements Include: Passport-size photograph (as per Georgian e-Visa specifications), Scanned passport bio pages in a single PDF, Aadhar-linked mobile number and email ID, Aadhar card copy, Bank statement for the last six months (unedited, PDF format), PAN card, and ITRs for the last three years, Sponsor’s bank statement (if sponsored), proof of relationship, and a signed sponsorship letter, Proof of sufficient financial means, Employment letter from employer, Travel/health insurance, Hotel bookings, return flight tickets, and a detailed itinerary

Travellers are urged to use only official government portals for information and to double-check that all documents are in order before applying. GNTA also reminds travellers to carry the necessary documents for inspection at the border, which include Passport, Printed e-visa (if applicable), Proof of travel purpose, Return flight tickets, among others.
