Cleartrip Launches Pay Later, Special Fares and Medi-Cancel

Cleartrip, announces the launch of a host of customer-centric features, with an intent to make travel more inclusive and accessible to all. The features includes discounted fares for certain categories, medi-cancel refund, along with international travel insurance, and two Pay Later options.

Special fares: Cleartrip rolled out discounted airfares. Students can enjoy benefits such as an additional 10 kg baggage allowance. Students, defense personnel, and senior citizens, these three categories can receive a waiver of up to INR 2000 on domestic flight bookings.

Pay Later: Users will now be able to book air tickets through credit that pay-later vendors offer (Travel Now Pay Later) on the Cleartrip platform. Alternatively, they can opt for cardless EMI which can be paid back over 3-12 months.

Cleartrip Medi-cancel refund: In case of an unexpected medical emergency (illness or injury), Medi-Cancel Refund allows a customer to avail up to ₹3500 against airline cancellation charges. This feature is available as a free benefit for all customers who make domestic bookings

International Travel Insurance: By opting for Cleartrip’s international travel insurance, a customer gets financial assistance in case of medical expenses,  loss of checked-in baggage, trip delays or cancellation or missed flight connections.
