Rotana has announced its first foray into Turkey with the Tango Arjaan by Rotana and Burgu Arjaan by Rotana in Istanbul, which will increase its portfolio by a total of 410 rooms. Rotana will manage the hotels for the Turkish group Dap-Yapi, which markets its properties located in the Maltepe area of the Turkish city as ‘Residence-Hotels’.
On completion, the Burgu Arjaan by Rotana – divided into two connected towers, Burgu 1 and Burgu 2 – will have a total of 222 rooms, while the Tango Arjaan by Rotana will be a 188-key hotel. The two Burgu towers, with 111 rooms each, will share facilities such as the lobby, lobby café, business centre, restaurant, health club and indoor pool, outdoor pool and landscaped areas, as well as five to six meeting and conference rooms.
Selim El Zyr, President and CEO, Rotana, said the new properties will answer the needs of the hospitality market in the Istanbul region with two highly sought-after product offerings. “Arjaan Hotel Apartments by Rotana are designed to close the gap between hotel and home and we are entering the vibrant Turkish leisure market for the first time with this concept.
