The conference is an unequalled gathering place for top management, hotel owners, bankers, developers and professional advisors from around the globe

How would you explain the emerging scenario of the Indian hotel industry?

On a macro level, government initiatives to promote tourism have really paved the way for expansion for many hotel brands. It is also so wonderful to see hotels focus on innovation and diversification while offering unique experiences and expanding into new markets. There has also been a trend towards sustainable tourism, with hotels adopting eco-friendly practices and promoting responsible tourism.

The theme of HICSA 2023 is 3XAI (Artificial Intelligence, Astute Investments, and Aesthetic Interiors) is perfectly capturing the mood of the hotel industry. What should industry expect from the theme?

AI – Artificial Intelligence, Astute Investments and Aesthetic Interiors are the three main pillars on which future development will depend. Whether we are looking at expansion, acquisition or mergers, AI – all three pillars – is all set to lead the way. We at Hotelivate do believe in keeping up with the changing times and listening to the feedback that we get at the end of every HICSA, like I mentioned earlier. A lot of positive feedback was received for the sessions talking about Artificial Intelligence and that is when we thought that this was something that needs the importance it deserves.
