Ginger Hotels, from Roots Corporation – a subsidiary of The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), has announced the launch of a bloggers outreach program as a part of their online marketing campaign. The campaign, called ‘The Thrifty Drifter’, will invite travel bloggers and reviewers across India to blog about their travel experience across a designated Ginger city and its hotel.
The campaign is divided into four phases: Registration, Shortlisting, Crowdsourcing and Blogging. This activity is a successor to the launch of a travel blog on the Ginger Hotels website.
Two lucky bloggers will be shortlisted on the basis of a story submission. The winners will be assigned a Ginger city and the specific tasks to be performed during their journey. These tasks will be based on the responses gathered by crowdsourcing questions to their fan base. The two finalists win a 20 night’s free stay at any Ginger property across the country.
