AirAsia announced the appointment of Vijay Gopalan as the Chief Financial Officer for AirAsia India. Vijay is a Chartered Accountant with over a decade’s experience from Chennai as well as a holder of Advanced Diploma in Marketing and Sales from the National Institute of Sales. Prior to AirAsia, Vijay was attached to the Compass Group India, as well as Ernst & Young and has worked in the United States and the United Kingdom with experiences in various industries including oil & gas, as well as hospitality. He was an All India rank holder in the CA entrance examination. He has also had a stint in consulting, along with corporate soft skills training.
