In an attempt to penetrate the tier – II cities in India as well as reinforcing its marketing efforts in Delhi, Philippines Tourism is all set to organise a four-city roadshow in Nagpur, Chandigarh, Lucknow and Delhi, starting July 30, 2015.
The objective of the roadshows is to educate and update travel trade partners about Philippines’ diverse tourism offerings apart from imparting market insights about the latest tourism trends to help operators to develop a suitable itinerary.
“We are excited about conducting our multi-city B2B workshops and education programs. Tier-II cities are important markets for Philippines as they promise a growing trend of people with the inclination to explore new international holiday destinations. Thus through these B2B workshops, we intend interacting with a significantly higher number of travel agents, tour operators and even wedding planners”, SanJeet, Tourism Attaché, Philippines Tourism said.
According to a media release issued by Philippines Tourism India office, as many as 15 travel professionals from Philippines will attend the roadshow and interact with their Indian counterparts in these cities.
Philippines Tourism will also be participating at the International Convention of Wedding Fraternity (ICWF) on 31 July and 1 August in Manesar. The aim is to network and highlight Philippines as a premium wedding destination to the high-end wedding planners.
